Isafjordur Airport resides in the mountains of Westjords in Northwestern Iceland. There are mainly three ways to get into Isafjordur. One is the ring road, Hrutafjorour and other from the eastern part of peninsula. On the way, a stop at Holmavik will let a person see some beautiful places. Other way to reach this city is by rented car through the ring road 60 from Thorskafijardarheidi. There are also many places on the way, which are wonderful to watch.
