Malaga Airport is the fourth most active airport of the country of Spain. This airport is also referred to as the Malaga Costa Del Sol Airport and also the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport. Many people and tourists come to Spain every year to visit its beautiful sights and this airport is considered to one of the largest international airports of Spain. This airport is famous worldwide and it can handle more than twelve million passengers every year. There are three terminals which are connected to this airport. All flights depart from Terminal 3. Terminal 1 is not used that much because all of its flights were moved to Terminal 3. Terminal 2 was designed by Ricardo Bofill and is called the Pablo Ruiz Picasso terminal. There are three floors in this terminal with the addition of a basement. The ground of floor of this terminal is for arrivals while the second floor has been built departures. The area of arrivals has been transferred into a baggage reclaim area so that you can retrieve your personal belongings and move around to the terminals. You can car hire in the basement known as the Rent-A-Car zone. This is a great opportunity because once you leave the airport you will have some way of transportation and you will be able to drive around Malaga and have a fabulous time. Terminal 3 is the biggest terminal located in the airport with eighty six counters for check-in, 20 gates for boarding, and 12 baggage reclaim sections from which people can obtain their bags. This terminal has the largest food court in all of Europe and has various restaurants such as Burger King, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and so much more. The terminal is also the home of the first National Geographic store.
Many people come here to visit the various beautiful sights located in this city such as the churches and museums. You can come visit the Pasaje de Chinitas which once used to be a place where people would come to see flamenco dancing but now this area is full of shops and wonderful attractive gardens. There are also many parks in Malaga such as the Crocodile Park which is the home of more than three hundred crocodiles. There also many art galleries and so many other places to see.
