Como is a province in Italy that covers an area of 37km2 and an approximate population of 90,000 people. But the city gets more people coming every year, thanks to the lovely attractions it has to offer. There is no airport constructed in the city, but there are airlines serving it like Milan Linate Airport, Orio Airport and Malpensa airport.

Things to Do in Como
- Lake Como - it has been nicknamed the express taxi to Bellagio, Lake Como gives you a fantastic view on a boat ride. You will spot several towns along the way, lavish villas and breathtaking mountains
- Villas in the City - just by how they are designed makes them a permanent attraction to tourists. One great villa to visit as you cruise down Lake Como is the Villa Olmo. This is a building that has seen great men wine and dine in it like the great Napoleon Bonaparte. It was erected in 1924 but still stands strong in the beautiful Italian town and even hosts a number of art events.
- Christmas Market - well Christmas always comes early in this market where locally produced stuff is sold. There are plenty of stalls to visit and lots of items to sample; from simple crafted materials to locally produced groceries and clothes.
- Volta Statue - do you know of the man who discovered voltages? Alessandro Volta was thought to be dumb as a kid, but he astonished his family and world by inventing the battery and discovered methane gas. This statue is in commemoration to this great scientist
- Varenna and Menaggio - these are two lake towns you should stop and go explore with your camera. They are voted to be the most beautiful along the lake’s course and have the most magnificent architecture villas.
- Mountain Lighthouse - free up a day and drive to Brunate, where the mountain lighthouse is located. This can be a romantic place to spend with your loved one as you take in the spending view of the Swiss Alps. And when there is some energy in you, the mountainside provides a nice nature trail and explore more of the scenic views from different angles.
